Automotive industry tunes in to data at Automechanika Birmingham

If you are in the automotive industry, you may well have been at Automechanika Birmingham.

The Phocas UK team had a great time being part of the first Automechanika to hit UK shores. We enjoyed meeting prospects and catching up with customers including Febi, WAI, Exedy Clutch and Elring who were also exhibiting.

Phocas approached the show with the mind set of educating the industry on the ever increasing role that data, and more specifically business intelligence, can play in helping automotive afterpart manufacturers, distributors and retailers improve their business performance and get results from their data. Andy Fox who has joined our team as UK Sales and Marketing Manager at Phocas said “We demonstrated Purchasing, Stock, Rebates, Finance and Sales data analysis all from one easy to use dashboard. And we continued the theme of education at the technical seminar theatre. People we spoke to were surprised at how quickly they could analyse and share this information across their business. As a result, Phocas has already welcomed a new customer. We wanted to showcase the latest version of business intelligence software for the UK automotive aftermarket, and the inaugural Automechanika Birmingham was a perfect platform for us to do this.”

For anyone who was unable to attend the show or the Phocas stand. Phocas is offering free personalised demonstrations to all automotive suppliers, manufacturers and motor factors. With more than 100 automotive businesses in the UK using Phocas, we’d love to show the benefits it could also bring to your organisation.
