Phocas Software has had a positive start to the 2015/2016 financial year. Here's the Phocas Software Chairman's Statement for H1 2015/2016.
- New license revenue (customer acquisition) up 49.04% compared to same period in 2014
- Customer retention increased from 97% to an amazing 98.4%
- Profits for the first six months in excess of USD$1 million
- Comfortably on track for 21% revenue growth for the financial year
When G2 Crowd, a leading software user review site released its Winter 2016 Grid for Business Intelligence, Phocas moved from high performer to leader with the highest customer satisfaction rating. All of our customers have rated us four or five stars, and 94% of our users believe we are moving in the right direction.
We agree, and we believe we can do even better.
A new Phocas website will go live soon designed to better reflect our brand and support our customers making it easier to engage with us and share best practices with other users. The website includes a training academy and forum so that customers can share their ideas and feedback with other users.
People and culture
We now have more than 100 employees, and we expect that we will continue to grow our team steadily over the next few quarters. We have launched a people strategy that supports our “Fun, Fulfilling, Forever” vision. HR partners are assisting us with new leadership training and HR practices that will help us develop while enjoying our work and surpassing our sales goals.
We have opened a new office on King Street Wharf in Sydney. The ambiance created by an open plan office on the water is very pleasant and we look forward to hosting customers and partners who visit Sydney.
Product and platform
Phocas 2016 (twenty sixteen) is on track for an April 2016 launch. Customers will like the improved user interface, dashboards, visualizations and collaboration features. Perhaps the most exciting feature is our new integration tool, called Database Designer. Its purpose is to assist non-technical users or IT departments in building Phocas databases on the fly. Phocas Software will still be available on premise as well as via a greatly enhanced multi-tenant cloud platform. Cloud offers efficiency gains and cost benefits for provisioning, maintenance and upgrades. We will include integration packages for popular ERP systems such as SAP, Epicor, Sage, Infor, Netsuite, Pronto, MAM and Microsoft Dynamics.
In our last update, we announced two strategic partnerships with NetSuite and MAM Software. We continue to expand our collaboration with these partners, and are excited about possibilities with other major ERP providers and prospective alliances with OEMs and system integrators.
Outlook for the remainder of the 2015/2016 FY
We expect strong growth with the potential for rapid expansion driven by the launch of Phocas 2016 and our maturing partner relationships.
