Each year, we invite Phocas users across the globe to conferences that help them sharpen their skills, learn from experts, share best practices and strengthen the Phocas user community. In 2015, we celebrated in music city USA Nashville and in the UK at the lovely Hampton Manor hotel.
On April 4-5, 2016, we are headed to the Windy City at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown. We listened to your feedback and created a full agenda that features keynotes by Phocas executives, a variety of learning sessions, networking opportunities and of course great food.
We are thrilled with the response for the US event and anticipate a big Australian event to follow for Aussie and NZ users. As we work to establish our annual user conference program as a must-attend experience for the best customers around the world, your commitment is appreciated. Your presence creates an exciting environment that encourages sharing and empowers others with greater confidence in using Phocas to help achieve their business goals and objectives.
Here are 6 things you can expect during the 2016 US user conference:
1. Great location and venue
We invite you to read our first blog about “Why Chicago,” which will give you a few reasons why we chose this location. The venue is newly renovated and is in the heart of the city with scenic views and easy access to local attractions. We hope you have an opportunity to visit the sites and get a taste of the city’s best restaurants.
2. Executive perspective
We want you to hear from our leadership team about what’s going on at Phocas, as well as get their perspective on the latest industry and technology trends. Phocas Chairman, Paul Magee recently posted his latest comments about the second half of 2015 on our blog.
3. Product launch
At this year’s events, we are rolling out a new version of Phocas and we have dedicated a morning session in Chicago. We’re thrilled to have Phocas Group CEO, Philip Dodds in Chicago to showcase the latest features.
4. Training tracks
On both days during the conference, we have reserved four hours for training sessions that will teach new strategies and showcase best practices to boost your Phocas skills. Whether you are new to Phocas or an advanced or technical user, we have tracks for you.
5. Networking time
It’s important that you have time to engage with peers in your industry and fellow Phocas users. There is time reserved during meals, breaks and on day one of the conference. Take advantage of this opportunity to share your own best practices and exchange contact info for future conversations.
While this is a business trip, we want you to relax, enjoy some time away from the office in one of the greatest cities in the country. We are looking forward to the Welcome Reception on the evening of day one where you’ll enjoy delicious food and a fun venue, and have the opportunity to step outside the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.
We could go on, but we have packed a lot into two short days. We invite you to start using our conference hashtag, #PhocasedOnChicago, as you begin your preparations for the event. And if you haven’t registered yet, there is still time.
