Epicor named FY26 Global Partner of the Year
Epicor has been named the winner of the inaugural Phocas Partner Awards in the global category, marking 18-years of partnership. Epicor leads the way among Phocas' global partners in delivering customer value and success.Epicor's scale and global reach puts it in a unique position to bring the Phocas platform to mid-market manufacturers and distributors around the world. Over the past year, Epicor has consistently positioned Phocas as a versatile Business Intelligence and Financial Planning and Analysis solution across their customer base, backed by a strong understanding of its value across a business. Eckart Supply and Edges Electrical Group are two of the many shared customers benefiting from that work.
A landmark year for the partnership
After 18 years, the Phocas and Epicor relationship is well established, with the teams working closely together and maintaining a clear understanding of what customers need to succeed. This past year stood out as a landmark one. The strongest endorsement came when Epicor named Phocas its own Global Partner of the Year, making it fitting that Phocas can now return the recognition. Alongside that, the two companies launched Epicor Sales Insights (part of the Epicor Data Analytics Suite), deepening the integration between the two systems and giving sales teams the ability to plan and prioritize high-value accounts. The two teams are committed to improving operational processes between the organizations, laying a strong foundation for even greater collaboration ahead.
“Eighteen years in, our partnership continues to grow stronger. Phocas solutions complement Epicor’s ERP and data capabilities, giving manufacturers and distributors additional flexibility to analyze performance, plan with confidence and act on opportunities. We’re honored to be recognized as Phocas’s FY26 Global Partner of the Year and look forward to continuing to create value for our shared customers," said Jacob Kearns, Director of Product Management - ISV Partner Programs at Epicor.
Hope Davis, the Phocas Epicor Partner Manager, says, "Working with the Epicor team is a pleasure. They are knowledgeable, responsive, and deeply committed to their customers' success, which aligns perfectly with how we operate at Phocas. The partnership spans multiple regions and teams, and the consistency of that positive, professional approach across the board is what makes this relationship stand out. After 18 years together, there's a level of trust and mutual understanding that makes collaboration feel natural."
What this means for customers
Edges Electrical Group, an American industrial electrical distributor, relies on the Phocas platform to drive financial reporting and analysis across sales, inventory, warehouse management and custom job management databases. Phocas is embedded in daily operations across every department, used for goal-tracking, self-evaluation and decision-making, with alerts that flag anomalies and trends so the team can act fast.
Eckart Supply, a wholesale distributor of electrical supplies, lighting, HVAC, plumbing and tools across 20 American locations, implemented the Phocas platform alongside its Epicor Eclipse ERP for faster, more accurate reporting. The data visibility now reaches every level of the business. Sales reps use Phocas dashboards before customer visits to spot sales trends, managers track branch performance across margins and profitability, and the purchasing team monitors dead and overstocked inventory against demand.
Congratulations to the whole Epicor team on being named FY26 Global Partner of the Year, and thank you for 18 years of partnership that continues to help mid-market manufacturers and distributors turn their Epicor ERP data into insights everyone can act on.

AI tools give accurate answers from ERP data when they use shared definitions of industry terms like active customer and products margin, work from connected data, follow user permissions and show how the answer was reached. Generic AI tools connected straight to ERP tables often skip these steps, so wrong answers look like right ones. A recent Phocas State of Sales in Distribution survey found that half of the distribution respondents are testing general-purpose AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude on their own, outside of any business system. It is important to know why a powerful generic AI tool can still be a wrong one and some of the important considerations of handing over your data to an AI engine.

In the Phocas State of Sales in Distribution 2026 report, 34% of distributors said they don’t measure their new-business win rate and 39% don’t track forecast accuracy or don’t know what it is. That’s a lot of pipeline running without much visibility across a distribution sales team. Using a distributor-focused CRM for pipeline analytics help sales leaders report on every stage of the deal and plan next steps for each stage conversion.

If you work as a sales leader in distribution, a deal is usually counted by finance when the invoice goes out or the payment is received. Yet, if you use a generic CRM system, the sales win is often recorded as soon as the rep gets off the call with the new order. The CRM shows the original deal value. The ERP holds the details of what actually happened. For a distribution sales leader, that gap makes it harder to judge performance. You can see what the team has won, but you still need another report to find out what was invoiced, what remains outstanding and how much margin the sale generated.

Everyone working in distribution needs access to CRM for different purposes. A rep might manage customers across several branches and the regional manager is overseeing multiple states and reps. Finance partners often need visibility into major opportunities or want to check the terms of a sale but wouldn't edit transactions.
