Phocas appoints new president of U.S. division to accelerate growth

Phocas is excited to announce the appointment of Jay Deubler as the new President of our U.S. division. Deubler brings more than 20 years of leadership experience working for software companies such as Avalara, Infor, Sage and Epicor. He will be instrumental in further enhancing Phocas’ partnership strategy with ERP publishers.

Phocas has consistently grown among mid-market manufacturers, distributors and retailers since its entry into the U.S. market in 2008. This fiscal year Phocas has experienced 35 percent revenue growth year on year.

The company has a strong customer base in manufacturing and wholesale distribution in America, so has aggressive plans to drive further growth via ERP publishers such as Epicor and Acumatica who also service these industries.

Deubler is ‘super excited’ to join Phocas for some key reasons.

“The product allows executives to follow their train of thought without the need of a resource to do it for them,” says Deubler. “Execs can drive Phocas themselves and immediately use the power of their data analysis. Many of the BI competition require someone else getting involved just to do the basics.”

Deubler has an impressive track record in sales leadership and technology sales, working in nearly every sales role during his career. He most recently served as vice president of sales for Avalara, a cloud-based automated tax compliance software.

Deubler is based in Irvine, Orange County, and Phocas will continue to run offices in Philadelphia, Reno and Florida. In addition to the United States, Phocas has established entities and long-term customers in the United Kingdom and the Asia Pacific.
